Houston doesn’t appropriately experience the four seasons; we have “hot” and “not as hot.” Summertime in the Bayou City brings unbearable humidity and the scorching, bright sun, which doesn’t typically sound like the ideal time of year to show your home to prospective buyers. While some suggest waiting until the fall when the weather is cooler and school schedules are back to normal, Nan and Company Properties/Christie's International Real Estate believes that summers can be great for home selling too! Just consider these summer appropriate tips, and you’ll be well on your way to beating the heat while selling your home in no time!

It’s no surprise that Houston has been ranked among the top 10 cities for relocating millennials in 2016. Millennials—young adults born between mid-1980s and late 1990s—are a mobile generation willing to relocate to mixed-use communities where they can work, live, and play. Houston has one of the largest millennial populations in the nation, with young adults comprising 14.5 percent of Houston’s overall population.

But why Houston? According to a recent study, nearly two-thirds said they were looking for job opportunities, 60 percent were attracted to the city’s affordable cost of living, and 58 percent found good housing options. The great thing about Houston is that we have several neighborhoods within our city where you can attain all of

The Grand Opening and preview party for Oaks on Caroline was a major success! We couldn’t have done it without the help of our #NanFam and our generous sponsors—AMCAP, Envoy Mortgage and Goosehead Insurance. We also want to thank our event partners Equinox and the Blue Cure Foundation for helping us to make this event so great that people are STILL talking about it!

From the moment guests walked though the door, they were immediately welcomed by the property's modern feel and the DJ's catchy beats. After reaching the second floor, a second DJ greeted them, surrounded by a bevy of fellow guests enjoying delectable bites and delicious
