The Grand Opening and preview party for Oaks on Caroline was a major success! We couldn’t have done it without the help of our #NanFam and our generous sponsors—AMCAP, Envoy Mortgage and Goosehead Insurance. We also want to thank our event partners Equinox and the Blue Cure Foundation for helping us to make this event so great that people are STILL talking about it!

Every moment of the night was meant to capture the hip and sophisticated nature of the Museum District. From the moment guests walked though the door, they were immediately welcomed by the property's modern feel and the DJ's catchy beats. After reaching the second floor, a second DJ greeted them, surrounded by a bevy of fellow guests enjoying delectable bites and delicious

Nan and Company Properties was incredibly honored to have played a part in the success of the 19th annual St. Anne Foundation Gala. As a precursor for the 2017 Gala, our company was proud to sponsor the VIP Event held on Tuesday. It was a night of special one-night-only auctions, flowing drinks and delectable hor d'oeuvres.

The gala on Saturday evening was just as beautiful, elegant and successful. Over 600 guests attended the Escape to Paradise, and more than $900,000 was raised overall for the St. Anne Foundation -- an all-time record! Special guests included Harris County Judge Ed Emmett; Dr. Julie Vogel, superintendent of catholic schools in the Galveston-Houston archdiocese, and Reverend Kevin Storey, president of St. Thomas High

This past month on September 30th, our Nan and Companies Property family participated in Critical Mass Houston for our company outing. Our agents and staff had a blast riding their trusty bicycles around town with thousands of other bike-loving Houstonians while getting to know their Houston community better. Being outdoors and feeling the wind as we rode was a refreshing way to forget about being stuck in our cars as we sit in Houston traffic on a daily basis. It was also a great way to get in good cardio exercise, especially after being cooped up at the office all week!

For those of you who don’t know, Critical Mass Houston is a monthly event in which hundreds to thousands of bike riders from around the Houston area gather together for a casual

We Stand With Nepal

It was only two months ago when a devastating earthquake hit Nepal, killing nearly 9,000 people and injuring 23,000 others. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake is recorded as the worst natural disaster to hit the area in 80 years. The disaster left the region’s infrastructure in shambles and hundreds of thousands of people homeless.

To raise money and awareness about the ongoing needs of the people of Nepal, philanthropist and Nan and Company Properties founder, Nancy Almodovar, hosted the “Party with a View for Nepal Earthquake Charity” event. Dozens of people gathered at the swanky, state-of-the-art Nan and Company Properties offices in the BBVA Compass building on Thursday, June 25th to support the effort.

PEARLAND, Texas – Nan and Company Properties learned first hand that there is truly no better feeling in the world than to make a child's Christmas a little brighter.

When Nan and Company founder, Nancy Almodovar, decided to help  the D12 Foundation to assist in giving underprivileged children and their families a brighter Christmas it was a no brainer. Through the efforts of Almodovar and her team they chartered 3 buses to transport the children from their home to the Super Target in Pearland, Texas and supplied close to 200 T-shirts for the children, their families and the volunteers who assisted to wear during the event.

"To see the faces of the children light up at not only getting to go on a holiday shopping spree but also at the fact that they
